    Transparent Evaluations

    Gold, Silver, Coins & More

Gold Buyers of Murfreesboro purchases a wide range of valuables using professional testing methods and current market pricing. Every item is evaluated in front of you, whether you're bringing in a single ring or an entire inherited collection.

    Gold
    Gold

We buy gold jewelry in any condition and any karat: rings, chains, bracelets, earrings, broken pieces, and outdated styles that haven't been worn in years. We also buy dental gold, including crowns, bridges, caps, and grills. Gold-filled and gold-plated items are evaluated too, though separately from solid gold, since the actual gold content in a plated piece is a fraction of what it would be in solid gold jewelry of the same size.

    Silver

Sterling silver flatware, tea sets, trays, bowls, hollowware, and jewelry all qualify, along with coin silver (.900 fineness) and other international fineness marks like .800. Tarnish doesn't affect what a piece is worth, so there's no need to polish anything before bringing it in. We also look at silverplate items, though these carry little to no actual silver by weight and are priced very differently from sterling.

    Coins & Currency
    Coins & Currency

This is one of the fastest-growing parts of what we do. We buy U.S. coins dated 1964 and earlier (constitutional silver), silver dollars including Morgan and Peace dollars, American Silver Eagles and other bullion coins, graded coins from PCGS, NGC, and CAC, foreign coins and currency, and full or partial collections. We evaluate coins for both melt value and collectible or numismatic value, so a coin with genuine collector demand isn't priced as though it were headed straight into a melt pot.

    Bullion
    Bullion

Gold and silver bars and rounds from recognized mints and refineries, along with government-minted bullion coins like American Gold Eagles and American Silver Eagles. Bullion pricing is the most straightforward transaction we handle, since it's tied directly to weight, purity, and the current spot price rather than requiring the same kind of condition or collectibility assessment jewelry and coins do.

    What Doesn't Qualify

We're not able to purchase items that don't contain precious metal content, costume jewelry with no real gold or silver, or items where ownership can't be reasonably established. If you're not sure whether something qualifies, the easiest path is to just bring it in. We'll tell you honestly whether it's something we can evaluate, rather than having you guess ahead of time.

    No Hidden Math

    How Pricing Works Across Categories

Every category we buy is priced against current market value at the time of your visit, which means the exact number can shift slightly from one week to the next as gold and silver prices move. For jewelry and dental gold, pricing comes down to confirmed karat or purity multiplied by weight. For silver, it's fineness multiplied by weight. For coins, we look at both melt value and any collectible premium. For bullion, it's the most direct calculation of the four: stamped purity, weight, and spot price.

We explain this math for every evaluation, not just the final number. If you want to understand exactly how your offer was calculated, we'll walk through it with you before you decide whether to accept.

    Not Sure What You Have?

That's the most common reason people walk in. A lot of what we buy comes from inherited jewelry boxes, old coin jars, and estate cleanouts where nobody's entirely sure what's actually valuable versus what just looks old. Bring whatever you have and we'll sort out what qualifies and what it's worth together, at no cost and with no obligation to sell anything you bring in.
